Good to Earth and Good for HairThis is a great shampoo and I will be buying more in the future. It s most important to me that my shampoo is eco friendly and good to animals. In addition to these qualities, this shampoo is good to people, smells great, and leaves my hair soft. The pump is an added bonus. In the water, the shampoo does not always create a nice texture on my hair (as is common for natural shampoos). After showering, my hair feels great. Because this is not made from animal-based products or questionable chemicals, it will be a bit different (like the texture I was talking about). I will buy again, and I also plan on buying the conditioner.5Smells bad, leaves hair tangledI got this for my kids. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner. They complained for months that it smelled bad and didn't work. I finally traded them for mine. Should have done it earlier. It really does smell bad and leaves hair feeling dirty after just 3 days of using it. Harder to brush through too.1I have some pretty bad skin issuesI have some pretty bad skin issues, this is the first shampoo i have come across that i can use without any reaction. It doesn't lather like other shampoos but once you get used to that, it is wonderful. I suggest this for anyone... specifically those with sensitive skin.5Leaves hair oily and stickyMy hair is pretty easy to care for as far as hair goes - it's sturdy and healthy. It isn't overly oily, but I've been using this shampoo for a month now and my hair has been stingy and greasy the entire time. This shampoo is hard to work into your hair because it doesn't lather and is sticky, like hotel bar soap. I never had dandruff until I started using this shampoo, and my scalp is so itchy because of it. I'm torn between sucking it up and finishing the bottle, or just throwing away the massive quantity. If I had found a smaller volume to try first, that would have been nice.2Extremely DisappointedIt was shipped/received promptly. But I am not satisfied with the performance though. I like their curl cream, but upon use of this shampoo my hair was extremely course and sticky. Haven t been able to use it after two uses due to that and now I cannot return it unfortunately. I was hoping to help encourage my curls but couldn t stand the feeling of my hair after using it.1Love it and not at all like regular shampooI love love love the brand and what they stand for! I can get behind a great natural shampoo that employs people, helps people, I won't go on a rant about that any further but I encourage you to check it out for yourselves! At first it was hard to adjust to natural shampoo. It definitely doesn't leave your hair silly soft while your washing it but it's kinda cool that your hair feels squeaky clean. Literally. It took me 2 weeks to head to the Mothers Market and purchase the conditioner. Again, it's not like a regular shampoo so your hair won't be silly but it will be squeaky clean. I have oily straight short hair so maybe that is how it works on me. I use a frizz creme for when I dry my hair and it becomes a lil softer. The brand mentions that every batch is different so I will come back to review the next bottle I purchase. Also, I share the shampoo with my kids. They are 4 and 6. They can handle it and we are careful not to get it on their faces. The lavender scent is a plus because we do shower and bathtime before bed so I hope it kinda helps lure them to relax.5Makes my hair a little dullI was using this brand s Everyday Coconut shampoo and really liked it. For some reason Kroger stopped selling it. I tried this scent, it s ok. Not bad, pretty subtle. But I need a LOT of the shampoo to actually clean my hair. I didn t need as much of the everyday coconut shampoo, and that one also didn t make my hair dull like this scent does. I love the company s mission, I wouldn t buy this shampoo again. I would buy the everyday coconut one though.3Great product but packaged poorly. Product leaked in transport.Love this shampoo. Works as described. A loose cap allowed some shampoo to leak during delivery. Not worth the hassle to return for another bottle.4Give it a chance even if you don t like it at first!At first I really didn t know what to think of this item. Other reviews commented that it left their hair greasy after showering, which was the case for me as well. But I was too cheap to not use it and just kept doing so along with the conditioner. Now after about two months of use, my hair is in the best condition it s ever been. I realized that after using shampoos with chemicals most of my life and now transitioning to something completely natural (the first ingredient is Shea butter) it took some getting used to. Even my husband (who doesn t care/noticed things like that told me my hair looks and feels so nice). Give it chance!4Tangly Mess of HairDoesn't make scalp feel clean, leaves filmy residue on wet hair, hair is impossibly tangly when wet, losing a lot of hair trying to brush it out. Smells great. Pump bottle is great. Used about 1/3 of bottle hoping my hair would adjust to the product, but I still have terrible residue on my scalp and hair from the product after more than 2 months of using the product. I normally don't even need to use conditioner because my hair is soft, but with this product its is necessary to even run my fingers through my hair. Hate that I'll need to throw it out or just discontinue use of it because its so wasteful and quite a lot left but I can't manage my hair like this any longer.1
