Inspired by the Geiko's original make-up base cream, Chidoriya has designed the certified organic shea butter-based face cream ‘Secret de Geiko,’ combining hand-pressed original pure camellia oil and gettou (Alpinia zerumbet) oil.
Shea butter has been used for centuries in Africa for its moisturizing and healing properties where it has been used to protect and condition skin which has been damaged by the sun. It will also be effective for protecting against and after care of snow-burned and/or wind burned skin. Chidoriya uses certified organic shea butter from West Africa, manufactured by the National Organization of Women created in Ouagadoudoum Burkina Faso.
Pure Gettou Oil works as natural preservative, as an anti-inflammatory, helps to prevent acne, and also contains polyphenol (34 times more than what is in red wine!) to help compound collagen, elastin, as well as anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties while the pure camellia oil leaves skin extremely soft and hydrated. The consistency and ingredients make this cream perfect for facial massage.
