cool stuff. saves time and money and very convinient to use. Works great in terms of ripping the hair off without much damage to skin. I still have to go over 2-3 times to completeley remove all hair. I guess that depends on practice. I have also observed blood spots sometimes when i rip it off too hard. However on my asian skin, it does not do so much harm. For people with sensitive skin or if you have not tried this by yourself before, this might be a problem though.I have used the white wax before and I didnt find the blue one any different from the white one even though i read many reviews that blue one is better.I just do the smaller parts of my skin with this so this will be enough for me for another 6 months. But if you do hands and legs with this, it might just last for 2 or maximum 3 months. The one technique that i have learned over the time with using this wax efficiently is that you can apply a very thin layer of the wax and it will still come off clear with all the hair stuck to it. But for that you need to pull one edge of the applied wax with the wax stick. This will ensure that the wax comes off clean and nice.I have also observed that it also pulls off all the dirt on the skin entirely along with it and leaves your skin soft and looking cleaner.Overall I love this wax as I can use it at my own convenience and time and costs me much less than what i would pay at a salon. Earlier with the wax can, I had to wait for more than 2 hours for the wax to completely melt. But with the beads, I just take a quantity that I would require for a one time use and I can use it within 15 minutes of melting time which I really like. 5Hard wax These wax beads suck, I ordered them because of all the good reviews they had and how easy everyone claimed they were to use. I had to use to much wax because it just wouldn t really grab on the hairs and it would break easily which made the whole process more painful than it should ve been. Idk if I got a bad batch but these wax beads sucked so much that it made the wax beads my warmer came with seem a lot better than they were. For the price you pay for these I suggest you save the money and buy something else or buy regular wax instead 1UNPAID REVIEW I am not being paid or receiving any benefits for this review.I am not a waxing expert - but I love this wax! I starting waxing at home about a year ago with a homemade sugar wax. I then bought a small wax warmer and it came with a variety of sample waxes. I tried all of them. Finally, I decided to try these wax beads and BY FAR this is the most effective wax I ve tried. It grips even the shortest, finest hairs. I use it all over my body - face, underarms, bikini, legs...I love the results. My only complaints are mostly due to personal errors, I think. Like I said, I m no expert, so maybe I need to work on perfecting my technique (prepping the hair before waxing, better application, etc.). If I could improve anything about my at-home waxing experience, it would be getting an even cleaner wax (I m still left with a few stray hairs here and there). Also, when I apply larger strips to my legs, bits of the wax crack and stay stuck to my legs (again, probably a user error and washes off easily enough in the shower).I love this wax and will continue to buy it! 4Cirepil hard wax (blue beads) It's waxing, so it's not 100% painless, but compared to the soft wax strips, it's amazing!! (And honestly it's really not that bad, and I am a huge baby when it comes to pain.) So easy to use too. Melt, smear, wait, rip. The beads worked just as well as my original solid can, just melted quicker, which was nice. Getting in the hard to reach areas without dripping wax on the floor is still tricky for me, but I think that's just personal technique and takes some time to master. I'm very much a waxing beginner. So far I've realized these tips:1) If the wax is too hot, not only will it burn your skin, but it sets a bit odd and doesn't remove hair quite as well.2) Draping a warm washcloth on the area for a minute or so then wiping completely dry before applying wax really does help reduce pain and improve results.3) Dash a little baby powder on the clean dry area, rub it in well, and make sure you wipe off any excess (there should be NO powdery appearance and absolutely nothing sticking to the actual hairs). It heps prevent the wax from sticking to the skin so much, which makes the "ripping off" process a bit more bearable.4) Prep with powder, not oil, which leaves the hair slippery no matter how much you rub.5) Applying and removing in the correct direction matters. Smear it on in direction of growth, remove in opposite direction of growth, even if this means having to do small areas in even smaller sections (like armpits or knees).6) Not too thick (won't dry thoroughly so it doesn't grip hair), but not too thin (breaks in pieces when you pull it off). This took a trial and error learning curve for me.7) Know your skin when it comes to aftercare. Every website I've found says to apply various products right after removal to help alleviate the sting and moisturize. I have very sensitive and oily skin, so the two times I did this (once with an "after wax lotion" and once with aloe) I wound up with tiny pimples and ingrown hairs everywhere, plus it burned. I have to jump in the shower right after waxing and clean with regular soap, then wait a couple hours to apply any lotion. (I'm sure everyone is different with this one though.)8) Do not "touch up" with a razor. If you miss a spot, take the time to remelt some wax. Most of the time I pluck the strays and realize many slip right out, almost like the wax pulled the root out but just didn't pick up the hair. Sometimes I can even simply wipe them off.9) Remove patches of dried wax by applying a tiny spot of wax on top. It'll remelt the residue and peel off clean. My results last at least a couple weeks. I also didn't realize my first bag of beads was sitting in my mailbox in the heat, so it melted into a big block and I had to break it apart. But I'm quite certain I'll never go back to shaving again. Hope this is helpful, and happy waxing! 5Best hard wax! This is the best hard wax I have ever tried! I prefer to use hard wax over any other wax hands down. I use it on myself & on my friends, family, & clients. I have found that this works best for me when used on clean, oiled (lightly) skin. Using a light oil helps prevent the wax from sticking to & pulling on the skin, therefore only grabbing the hair. Easy to use & easy clean up. I have found my holy grail hard wax & will be repurchasing every time I start getting low.**Always use a clean/unused wooden stick/spatula to dip into the wax. Reusing sticks can cause your wax to become contaminated & unsanitary.** 5Very easy to use, great results! Very easy to use & easy clean up, never paying $$$ for a salon wax again! I've been a regular customer at a nation-wide franchise salon, and this is almost identical to their hard wax. With that said, I'm no professional and always dreaded my wax appointments. I wanted to try doing my own since summer up-keep gets very expensive. I've watched my esthetician over the years, so I knew the general routine when applying / removing hard wax. Just like the salon, I used a pre-epilation powder (Gigi brand) on the skin area and a large epilation applicator stick (Gigi brand) to apply the wax - using a new stick for each application. Before I purchased a professional warmer, I wanted to make sure this wax was worth it. For my first time using, I poured the wax beads into a glass mason jar + set it in a small pot of simmering water (sounds funny, but it worked like a charm and kept the wax melted at the perfect temperature!). I have very sensitive skin and I've had no issues with ingrown hairs (always exfoliate waxed area in the shower) and no issues with irritation. Surprisingly, doing my own wax was virtually pain free. For those saying the wax sticks to the skin, make sure you're applying enough wax for a thick strip and it will peel off very easily once it cools. Highly recommend & will be purchasing a warmer! 5A helpful read!! (Refill bag is beaded and tin can is solid wax). JS! I'm a first time DIY waxer and this is the first time I ordered wax. I did my research and knew what I was ordering (Wax Beads). I'm glad I ordered this Cirepil Blue Wax refill! I waxed my armpits, lip, some parts of my legs and I did my own full Brazilian. I enjoyed it so much I want to wax other people as I have no more to wax! The hard part was teaching myself to rip it off fast. I showered with ivory soap and a clean wash cloth, I took an 800mg ibuprofen an hour prior to waxing, and for my Brazilian, I applied a numbing cream (containing 4% Lidocaine) on just the upper, more sensitive part (upper 'Pubic area' & Labia Majora (outer lips)) 45 mins before waxing. I then applied aloe immediately afterwards on my waxed area's, after I was finished with that whole area. Cleaned up my mess, and once again showered the same way to clean off any residue, and then applied Vaseline Lotion on my skin. That's my usual showering routine. I had no lasting redness, not that I remember having any redness, and almost no pain. Very pleased!!So really it was the best waxing experience I've ever had. Went to European Wax Center for seven months every month prior to my first time DIY waxing. For a fact I experienced more pain at the Wax Center than I did doing it myself at home with this wax. I will only do it myself from now on and only with this wax. I'm So glad I worked up the courage to finally do it on my own!! Don't forget your wooden application sticks. You can get them from the craft section at your local store. Amazing product!I can't believe the amount of bad reviews on here because people simply ordered the wrong product! If you want the beads, order the refill bag. I laughed so hard at some of those reviews complaining about the tin can. Can't go wrong with this product. 5Love this wax!! This wax is AMAZING!!! I have used it so far on my underarms, hands, and above the lip. I am probably the biggest wuss with pain and was terrified to actually wax anything except for my lip (I'm used to waxing away the 'stache since I'm light complected with dark Mexican hair). I will definitely be trying this on other areas of my body that I would like the hair to disappear for a while. I would just make sure you have a good warmer to heat the wax, make sure the consistency is in between being runny enough but thick for applying, have plenty of applicator sticks, and dont be afraid to really lather the wax on leaving yourself a thick enough lip to grab and pull off. Leave the wax on until it's hardened enough and then rip off, you'll get a much better result. I used coconut oil afterwards to soothe my skin. I have not had any issues so far with irritation or any ingrown hairs. This is wonderful! 5Best wax out there I had tried several other waxes before finding this one. I mainly use it for the bikini area, and it works really well. You'll need a warmer to use it, but it's worth it. It has that perfect balance between being plyable but not too sticky. Others I had tried were either way too sticky or got too hard and brittle, making them difficult to remove and ineffective. This one was just right. I've been using for about 3 years now, and still love it. Also, no wax strips needed! The wax itself hardens (still somewhat flexible) and you just lift up the edge and pull it off, the same way you would a wax strip. 5Awesome once you learn it! So basically, it's awesome once you figure out how to properly apply it. I learned the best way is to get a lot in one large clump and then spread that clump into two or three strips very close to each other. And the very last strip bottom needs to connect with the first strip. So I kept saying, "clump, line, line, connect" and I was able to get the most coverage without it breaking into a million pieces. 5
