Exactly what is listed . . . I needed some longer bobby pins for a particular up do. I couldn't find any long ones at a store nearby, so I ordered them online. These are very sturdy bobby pins. I received them quickly. Smooth transaction. Very happy with them. 5Think and long hairI have a lot of thick hair. These Bobby pins hold it all in place without having to use the gold pack at one time.5They are fabulous!Amazon is the only place I've ever seen bobby pins shaped like these. They are fabulous! Don't overload them with hair - it stretches them apart - which only defeats the purpose of their great design and turns them into every other bobby pin.One minor detail: I'd like to see a little bigger the tip on the end of the bottom pin.5OK, but wear out quickly.Meh. These stretch out after only 1-2 uses, and don't hold hair as well. I use these to hold my hair in a French twist. I had some Scunci curved bobby pins that lasted over 10 years, but I've slowly lost those, and have been trying to find a good replacement. They're strong, hold really well, and will not get bent out of shape from holding too much hair. You really can't beat the price for this quantity. Some things to keep in mind:-Like other people have said, the paint flakes off. HOWEVER, from my own experience it's not truly terrible. There were some very small flakes stuck to the cardboard when I first received it, and sometimes I spot a small area on the bobby pin (usually the inside) where the paint has flaked off. I've never actually *seen* it fall off, though, so overall it's extremely minor and definitely not noticeable.-The tips are square, not rounded. Although they did put glue (or something similar) on the ends to soften the corners a little, it's not as much as other brands have for their bobby pins. They're thin, flimsy and hard to use in my long hair. I bought them because of their length and the curve in the middle. They could be great if they were thicker and wider. C. Well like my title says, it's nice strong and curved, I like that. But it flakes big time, and the tip of the bottom came off of one so far. So I'll use them for what they are until I can't anymore. I bought other ones I like, I'll write a review on those after a while just in case they start flaking off to. When I read about the other diane curved in the big pack and people saying that they flake off, I thought these might be different. Nope. So I bought some other ones today, I hope those work. They are curved like these and have good reviews. I'm just disappointed that these aren't better.Update:I changed my stars from 1 star to 4 stars. Even though the paint does come off, these are very strong. I use them for buns all the time. the small bobby pins just don't do the trick anymore, So instead of using 4 or 5 to do the same thing, a bun, I use 1 for the top bun with my hair in a ponytail using a ponytail elastic, and two for a low bun without a elastic and it stay in all night. So it does what I need it to do. I would buy these again because of that fact. I didn't know how long these would last, so that's the reason for the update. I haven't used the straight ones that much, so when I do then I'll be writing a review. I mainly use the curved ones.4Curves are bestIt s true the curved bob puns are better than the straight ones.
