Not water proof I needed a water proof liquid eyeliner but this items pacakage claims it s a 24 hour type of eyeliner . I m not very happy about this because I live in a humid hot climate and need waterproof eyeliner.The bottle of the eyeliner has a high heel decoration on it and gets in the way when applying the liner to my eyes. I ended up pulling the high heel decoration off.Expensive $Washed off easily with soap and waterNot tested on animals and cruelty free (hence the 3 stars )Arrived in two days via Amazon Prime 3Decent product. PROs:Volume -- This is the largest amount of product I've seen for a drugstore brand.Applicator -- I do NOT like felt tips but this was the softest, (longest) most flexible one I've used and I'm pleased with the texture.Upkeep: With other eyeliners, excess product accumulates over the mouth of the bottle with time, possibly making it messy. Not with this one.Fragrance -- The vanilla scent was a pleasant surprise.Stay-power -- All-day wear. Hasn't required touch ups. Smudges only a tad if you rub your eye. Doesn't fade (unless there's been a good deal of canoodling going on).CONs:Pigmentation -- Somewhat dark but it should be darker. Takes an extra coating to get it appropriately dark (but still not as black as jet).Product Design -- The long handle warrants caution when applying in front of a mirror. I prefer a shorter handle but I can get used to it just fine.The Charm: Why would you affix an obstruction right where it'd fall on the eye when applying? Requires maneuvering but nothing too cumbersome.Style -- Just a bit gaudy. Wish the whole thing were sleeker.OVERALL:You might like it. Would not buy again. I'd rather try something else. I'm sure there's better. 4Long lasting and great for sensitive eyes Love this eyeliner! My eyes are very sensitive and often swell up or get really spider veiny from a lot of makeups which apparently have ingredients I am sensitive to. I have no problem with this product though (and actually I have tried a lot of Physician's Formula liquid eyeliners and they all are great for my sensitive skin!). Very dark pigment, easy to apply, great for cat eyes. I only apply once, and it lasts all day. 5Application Not Easy (for the more mature) Chose this product b/c the company doesn't test on animals. It did not go on easily. Had to re-dip the liner 3-4x's into the bottle to line one eye-lid (maybe the product was drying up-not sure how long it's been around as I've never seen this in stores). I'm in my late 30's so my skin is not smooth but compared to my other inexpensive liquid liner (R****n) in which I only have to dip once or twice to apply per eye, this is not up to par. 2Cute, nice smell, but not dark enough The packaging for this is the cutest eyeliner packaging I've ever seen. It comes with quite a lot of product for the price, and it's unexpectedly vanilla-scented. The felt tip applicator is easier to control than other brushes. However, I found the felt tip to be too fine for me, as I prefer applying a thicker line, and it was a little too long.Also, the liquid doesn't go on very dark, so it took a long time to get it as black as I wanted. Plus, it takes AGES to dry, so it's prone to being messed up once you're finished. It is definitely waterproof, though, so once it does dry, you're good to go.I think this might be fun for high school kids or something, with the cute packaging and vanilla scent. 3All day wear! I have tried out tons of liquid eyeliners, this one stays on all day. To be honest, I wish the brush was better but this is still the only eyeliner I will ever use! 5Not Ultra Black or Waterproof Liner tip is very thin which makes application more time consuming than it needs to be. Most importantly, it is not ultra black nor is it waterproof. I used Wet & Wild before which was great and inexpensive. However with age my eyes have become sensitive so I have been looking for something similar that is hypo-allergenic. No luck so far. Not happy with this product. 1Hypoallergenic & a Nice Basic Black Eyeliner. I've been using the coordinating mascara for awhile, and decided to give the eyeliner a shot. I am TOTALLY not used to liquid eyeliner, so there was a learning curve for me ("Hm... I guess I'll just be a raccoon today..." --- beginners tip: wipe off the brush on the inside edge of the bottle before attempting to apply). It performs well, though. It stays on all day and looks very sharp and clean even after 8 (or 13) hours of work (in a kitchen, where I am sweating and being exposed periodically to both industrial oven heat and a sub-zero freezer -- lets just say it passes the "extremes" test). Its a respectable basic black eyeliner. Like the mascara, its scented with an "aphrodisiac" (lol, as if my fiance were going to be smelling my eyes or something...?). I find the scent inoffensive and mild. Most importantly, neither the scent nor the product itself bothers my sensitive eyes, my sensitive skin, or my allergies. For the record: I would describe myself as mildly-to-moderately sensitive when it comes to makeup, soaps, chemicals, scents, etc. I have a reaction to products fairly frequently but not always, and when I do its rarely severe. I also have seasonal allergies and certain products set that off as well. For the price, this is a REALLY good addition to your makeup bag. Plus... the packaging is SO cute!I have a single ergonomic complaint: that little high-heel charm (which is adorable!) is attached to the brush, not the base... and its on the end closest to the brush itself, so its kind of awkwardly in the way when I apply the eyeliner. I haven't decided if I'm going to rip it off or not; it would make life easier, but... its also really cute sitting on my vanity. *Sigh*... first world problems, right?I have one makeup tip to add to my review: since I'm more accustomed to powdered eyeliner and a brush, I've had to go over it with powder to even it out as I get used to it (drawing a straight even line is an art, apparently). I've discovered that I can go over it in a color (sometimes a sparkly color) in order to subtly change the look. Example: I went over it in a shimmery plum color one day, and it still seemed to be black but that subtle hit of purple and sparkle made my green eyes appear far more dramatic.Makeup is fun. :-) 4I love this eyeliner I love this eyeliner. It has an easy applucator tip and is easy to apply. I dont need to constantly reapply it, and it lasts all. day. The applicator tip is very thin so its easy to be precise when applying it you get a straight line, or any design you want to do. 5Good liquid liner If I added up all of the money I have spent on experimenting on different liners, trying to find the right one, I think I'd get depressed! My college niece uses this one and her eyes always look perfect. I'm in my 60's and many liners tend to be too dry, resulting in cracking and chipping off of the color. Also, I have to apply liner by relaxing my eyes lids, since they are no longer as smooth as younger eyes. Many other liners do not "go on" smoothly unless you pull your eyelid taut. Once you get older and try that, once your eyelid relaxes, your liner looks uneven, blotchy and thick. This liner doesn't do that, and I can put it on in a thin layer so it looks age appropriate once applied. 5
