I can say I am not particularly gentle with them and I use one or two of them almost every day - I even sleep in them from time to time and so far no breakage and no loss of any teeth. As for ease of use I do just as the sellers instruct and have had zero problems getting any of the clamps in. Actually if I want to get my mid length loose 4b/4c hair into a neat puff or bun in 1 -2 minutes PuffCuff is the way to go, which is exactly why I use them almost daily. Sometimes I wonder how I managed before PuffCuff. Finally, about the comfort - Yes they are absolutely comfortable. this is why I end up sleeping in them sometimes. Be aware though that any tension after installing PuffCuff is likely caused by pulling your hair together too closely at the base in the first place. If you find it tight just remove it, hold your hair more loosely at the base and try again. At a glance the price does indeed sound over the top but after using them I can say that are definitely worth every penny I paid. Oh, and one last thing, I bought the whole set because I was desperate to find a reliable hair clamp, didn't know which size would be best. Figured I would just gift the ones that couldn't work. Well, wonder of wonders they all work for me depending on the style I am trying to achieve!
