One StarAmazon does not list the ingredients in the product when you place the order. Caveat Emptor-Let The Buyer Beware. The problem is that the product contains mineral oil and petroletum oil. Mineral oil is actually a by-product in the processing of gasoline from petroletum and molecules of the mineral oil are too large to even pass through pores of the skin and will only sit on top of your skin "sealing in" the germs and suffocating your skin from moisture, as well as cutting off precious oxygen and preventing toxins from escaping the skin, that can cause acne. Mineral oil is simply a cheap filler 80% of companies use to help increase their products regardless of the harmful effects to your skin and health. Petroleum is a crude oil found beneath the ground and refined to produce fuels including gasoline, kerosene, and diesel oil. When it is added to beauty products (primarily as a cheap filler), it makes that product comodogenic since it coats the skin and clogs the pores and does not, therefore allow moisture in, resulting in irritation, acne, skin dryness, and dandruff (if inside a hair care product). Do you really think that consumers want to wear toxic makeup that can cause damage? I read the label when it arrived before I wore it. That's how I found out these two chemicals were in it. In the end, it's about safety not a refund! There are organic lipsticks from very good makeup companies that list their ingredients and that's who I will buy my lipstick from. It may cost more, but you can't place a price on your health.1Beautiful shade of purple but... The color is gorgeous - it's exactly the shade I was looking for, but... it doesn't last long for a matte lipstick. I had to reapply several times during the night so I could maintain the rich dark color. Overall, it's not bad. 3BeautifulThe red on this is similar to Sephora s Red 01 Matte Lip Stain lipstick. This is a inexpensive go to. The red is a rich color. The wear of the lipstick is not great, as it does cause my lips to dry out heavily. It also comes off easily when eating food. But, the variety of colors and their appearance when applied is exceptional.I have tried the colors Blue Lagoon, Lavenderism, Mojito Lover, Purple Affair, and Blackism. Each of those colors shows up very well. The lipsticks I have at the moment are Purple Affair, Mojito Lover, and Blackism, which I swatched on the back of my hand to show the color quality. 4Awesome!I bought the lipstick for my Hilda cosplay so I wanted something cheap. To be honest I was trully impressed by the pigmentation and quality of the product. It lasted the whole day. No need to re-apply it!5OMG again! And because of the waxy consistency (1) this is NOT for people with chapped lips -- I think everyone should thinly moisturize before applying this -- and (2) Because it is waxy, it won't rub off easily (like moist/oily/creamy lipsticks.)So I just took off a star for it's somewhat difficult consistency. Otherwise, I think it's a good, affordable lipstick in a beautiful purple.4
