Great product!I got the Shu Uemura one everyone raved about and then got this for my purse and it works so much BETTER that I ordered two more, one for my travel kit and one for my home vanity. It's compact and travels great plus it WORKS on my nearly uncurlable lashes. Nothing ever worked better.5Low quality pad leads to barely curled lashesI got this based on the reviews that it is 'exactly like the Sonia Kushak one.' and it definitely is not. Yes, the plastic actual curler is, but the pads suck! The second you close down on the curler, they compress to almost the plastic bottoms. The Sonia Kushak ones were much thicker and didn't compress as much which meant a much fuller curl on the first try. This one I have to curl over and over and still not as curly as my old Sonia Kushak one! Which is going on two years old! I SO should have bought like 100 Sonia Kushak ones when I could have. Maybe I'll go back to Japonesque which was working great for me. Laura Mercier also has one, I just liked this curler because of the larger hand held part. But the actual curling mechanism is what's important. Don't buy, stick with the little travel Japonesque or Laura Mercier.2This is a great eyelash curler to keep in your purse This is a great eyelash curler to keep in your purse. If I ever lose it, I will order a new one right away! 5Holy Grail lash curlerI love this eyelash curler. It is exactly like the Sonia Kushak one at Target that is always out of stock but this is sturdier and comes with replacement pads. It is the only curler I can use that doesn't pinch my eyes. Most are too curved for my eyes and pinch at the corners. I have flatter lids and I have a lot of trouble getting most curlers against my lashline without pinching me. This is perfect.Update: Purchased originally Jan 2015. This finally broke after 4.5 years! June 2019. I just ordered 3 more after trying several different ones trying to find something that doesn't pinch and finally remembering I got the old one on Amazon. I am stocking up. My pads held up just fine. I never even had to replace them. This is by far the best curler I have ever found for my eye shape.5JunkIt doesn't hold the lashes. Awkward to use1Works but no refillWhen I saw it, I didn't think I'd like it but after using it, I think it actually curls my lashes better than the metal ones and, because it's white, I can see the lashes that I'm grabbing a lot easier. I only wish that the button you need to press to curl the lashes was located elsewhere - it's on the inside facing your face so I don't find it comfortable. Like other reviews say, this one seems to be the same. An eyelash curler is one of my must haves, and I learned long ago that I can't use a metal one. It would cause skin irritation, similar to people who are allergic to cheap metal jewelry. I was always disappointed that Target didn't sell replacement pads for them, but I loved the folding one so much, I bought several at $10 crack.Since I found this on Amazon, I did also purchas replacement pads and found they do work in my Sonia curlers. Replacement pads for the metal brands did not.At one point Sonia sold black ones - but I found that the white ones, though the show makeup dirt more, are much easier to see that you have your lashes in place as you are curling them.I don't know why Sonia brand has gone to a metal and full-sized curler, like all the other brands. This folding one is great for travel. And, again, I can't use the metal ones. I had tried another plastic brand years ago, but it was very cumbersome and you couldn't see where your lashes were as you tried to get them in the curler.5Replacement pads and curler for Sonia Kashuk travel eyelash curler!My Sonia Kashuk travel eyelash curler had a crack in it so I needed to replace it. I saw the Seki Edge folding eyelash curler and thought that it looked identical to the SK one, so I bought it and Seki Edge replacement pads Seki Edge Replacement Pads for SS-602 also. When the products arrived, I compared it to the SK curler and it WAS identical and the pads fit the SK curler too which is good since a lot of you who own an SK curler cannot find SK replacement pads! I love how this eyelash curler makes my super-straight Asian lashes curly and it keeps the curl all day! For those of you looking for replacement pads to the SK curler, get the Seki Edge pads, they will fit.5This quality item curls way better than the metal lash curlersThis quality item curls way better than the metal lash curlers.
