No more chlorine smell I use the pool 4-5 days a week and was tired of always smelling like chlorine. This body wash when used with a scrubby net sponge takes all of the chlorine smell away leaving fresh clean skin. I recommend this to casual and competitive swimmers alike.Great product. 5Excellent product - I'll never be without it again! This is an excellent product that is used by almost everyone in my aquatics class. We love it!! Not only does it get rid of that nasty chlorine odor, but smells fabulous AND relieves the itching caused by chlorine. A little goes a long way, which is also awesome! I will never be without this product again. I can't recommend it highly enough! 5I have had great results at the recommendation of my barber with Bumble ... Gets chlorine and the smell off my skin after swimming. If you're really hunting chlorine spots, use this with a "military-style" shower in which you lather up without running water to make sure you don't miss a spot.Do not use as shampoo - will leave your hair a bit coarse. I have tried other chlorine removal swim products and although they work, they are a bit pricey. Summer Solutions is at very affordable price point for me....and it works great. It is a gel, so you don't need to use a lot to get results. Removes the chlorine smell, stops itchy skin and does not dry out my skin. 5The Color was Off. The item came on time, but the shower gel looks completely different from what was advertised above. The shower gel supposed to be light blue in a clear bottle. Mine was dark green in a clear bottle. I was really confused... a little afraid to try it out too.The smell is average fresh. I bought it as "new" but it seems like someone already had need using it based on the green stains in the opening cap. 1Still smell I work at a swim school and am in the water up to 6 hours straight and this is good at removing the itchy feeling I would get after being the pool, but it doesn t remove the chlorine smell or help hydrate my skin. Not a very effective product. 2dont waste your money..look at the others, there is many choices First it doesnt look like this, its dark green, secondly it smells odd, not a nice soap fresh smell. Its also very runny like water so a lot comes out and you waste a lot of it. There are many other swimmer's gel that does the trick for less and smells nice and is also thick and soapy. I find this product takes a lot to get a good lather. 1works okay This shower gel works okay at moisturizing and decently well at removing the chlorine smell. However, I have found that TrIswim body wash works much better and doesn't have a strange fragrance like the summer solution swim gel does. 4Good soap My husband has been swimming at our local Y about 3 days a week. They use a LOT of chlorine in their water (a LOT). He was constantly itchy after going, even after showering. I bought this stuff and at first he didn't notice a difference, but now it stays in his gym bag. He has stopped complaining about itching after swimming. This is a good product. Just remember... a little goes a long way! 5Different, but works. This stuff is certainly different. But at first use, seems to work.All of a sudden, I started itching. I swim regularly at the local pool throughout the year and after a couple years the itching started. Looking up "swimmers itch" only showed sites that dealt with fresh and salt water derived itch, due to some kind of parasites in the water. My issue would be from the chlorine, brand of body wash I had been using (el cheapo Suave), winter low humidity or a combination. It seemed to make the most sense to focus on a product that would neutralize the chlorine.So far my experience is similar to other comments. The actual product is dark green, about as dark as ink, not the pretty light shade pictured. It does not product much lather. That is not really a bad thing, as lathering agents are added to please the user visually and sensorially, not because it improves actual cleaning. The fragrance is ok, at least for me. It is not like the flowery kind in some products that some people demand, but is functional and not unpleasant. But it is pricey for a small 8oz bottle, but if it works in the long run it will be worth it. Seems to go a long way. After a few weeks of use, I will update. 4
